Recent reports suggest that placing vehicles in landfills can spread metal pollution into local waterways. You may ask “don’t landfills have precautions in place for this kind of problem?” The answer is yes, though they don’t always work as intended. While landfills do have barriers installed below their dumpsites, these barriers are penetrable by rainwater which can carry the pollution outside of the landfill. The safer alternative to taking vehicles to the landfill is to recycle them. Unfortunately, not everyone has the time or means necessary to tow a junk car to a recycling center. Instead, these vehicles may be left in yards and inadvertently allowed to leak toxic fluids into the local environment.
We saw a need for a better alternative, which is why we started our junk car program. We will pay you for your junk vehicle and make sure it gets to a certified recycling center. We even come to you and will tow it away at no charge. In exchange, we salvage whatever parts that we can before taking it to the center where it is broken down into its recyclable materials. This not only solves the problems that vehicles in landfills cause, it also contributes to the economy by putting steel, rubber, and plastic back on the market at a fraction of the cost of new materials. We want to help you be part of the solution, and we’ll even pay you for it! There is no easier way to get a little cash out of a junk car.
A car can become a junk car in a variety of ways. Most junk cars are very old and have deteriorated to the point that they are no longer able to be fixed. Others are relatively new but have been used for extensive road tripping, rock crawling, and other activities that are tough on vehicles. Still others have been in accidents and are no longer safe to drive. In rare cases, a vehicle may just be a “lemon,” and break down so often that it becomes financially irresponsible to continue maintaining it. In short, a junk car is any vehicle that has come to the end of its useful life. We hope you never come to own this type of vehicle, but if you do, we are here to help you dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way.
"After having a baby, my wife and I decided our old car wasn't going to cut it anymore. The classified ads weren't generating any interest, so I wasn't sure we would ever be able to sell the car. This company came and bought it the day after I called them."
